I completed a diploma in Art and Design at Swinburne, Prahran Campus in 1986 and started her career as a sign writer for Valhalla Cinema and as a book designer at Collins Dove in Melbourne. After moving to the bush near Castlemaine in Central Victoria my creative path took a turn, inspired by the nature environment. I began studying Printmaking and Mosaics. After completing a diploma in Sculptural Engineering my work is now predominantly a sculptural practice.

In my work I explore the creative history and mysteries of our existence. In doing so I look to the majestic and spiritual qualities of the natural worlds as well as the world of symbols for inspiration. The responsibility of maintaining a health and harmonious planet is also an important part of expression in my arts practice. I work with a range of materials and enjoyed the versatility of steel, resin and the transformation of everyday objects.
